Equal Work Deserves Equal Pay

Same work, less pay: Fix Winc’s unfair wages in Queensland!

Winc workers in Brisbane supply essential goods across Queensland’s public services, yet earn up to 15% less than Sydney for the same work. Tell Winc and Platinum Equity to deliver pay parity for Queensland Winc workers!

Why Winc’s Queensland Wage Gap Must End?

Petition: Pay Parity for Winc Workers in Queensland

TO: Winc & Platinum Equity

Sign our petition calling on the Winc & Platinum Equity to deliver pay parity for Winc workers who pack and distribute essential products across our state.

These workers who keep Queensland’s schools, hospitals and government offices running are being paid up to 15% less than their colleagues doing the exact same work in Sydney and Melbourne.

From classrooms to hospital wards to government offices, Winc workers ensure essential supplies arrive where they’re needed, every single day.

These workers keep essential public services functioning but now, they’re the ones being left behind.

Why is this important?
Despite doing identical work, Queensland Winc workers are paid significantly less than interstate workers.

Winc is a profitable company, generating around $708 million in revenue last financial year, and is currently being marketed for sale by Platinum Equity as a valuable asset with a profit margin of 6%.

At the same time, Brisbane’s cost-of-living is now on par with Sydney.
These workers are not asking for special treatment. They just want to be paid the same as interstate colleagues.

Should taxpayer money support a profitable company that pays Queensland workers less for the same work?

Winc workers proudly supply the essential services Queenslanders rely on every day.

Tell Winc and Platinum Equity to deliver pay parity for Winc Queensland workers NOW. Because equal work deserves equal pay.

Despite doing identical work, Queensland Winc workers are paid  upto 15% less than their colleagues in Sydney and Melbourne. Brisbane’s cost-of-living is now on par with Sydney. These workers aren’t asking for special treatment, just to be paid the same as interstate colleagues doing the same work.

Platinum Equity is the private equity firm that owns Winc. They are currently marketing Winc for sale as a high-value asset. They have the budget levers to fix this wage theft but have chosen profits over people.

Winc workers supply stationery and office products across Queensland to schools, hospitals and government offices.
