I’m currently on quarantine for Covid-19, There is no leave benefit for this and i won’t have enough sick leave to cover my pay and won’t be able to buy the bare essentials to even make it from next pay as I had to self isolate before this happened for 5 days due to a family member getting tested. This means I will be away from work for over 19 days. This means over half a month without pay. I believe there should be something implemented to assist workers across the country of Australia as i live in Sydney NSW and everything is expensive to even get through the day to day living.
