TELL FLG that GFMs have had enough!
On the 28th of August 2023, Fitness & Lifestyle Group (FLG) held a national video call launching their “the Way We Work” program, impacting the weekly rosters of all Group Fitness Managers (GFMs).
The Enterprise Agreements at Fitness First and Goodlife Health Clubs dictate that consultation about major workplace change is non-negotiable.
Despite this, GFMs have reported to UWU that FLG has not adquately consulted with them about these changes. By being forced to accept unfavourable rosters, many GFMs are struggling with severe loss of income.
While a number of GFMs have approached the company with their concerns, FLG has stood firm on the rollout of “the Way We Work” program.
