Educators to take National Action on July 15

Every educator knows this country relies on us to function.

We fought hard for a 15% pay rise and we won it. But the Federal Government has not committed to locking in that funding beyond November 2026. We will not go backwards.

That’s why on Wednesday July 15, educators everywhere will be walking off to show the Federal Government what happens when they don’t listen.

Educators across every state and territory, across regional and metropolitan areas around the country will be walking off the job.

Thousands of us signed the letter to the minister’s office calling on the Federal Government to act. They received it. They had every chance to respond.

They didn't listen. Now that day is here.
